I did first two with meds. First one I was young and didn't know when to push cause I couldn't feel a thing. Second when they put the needle in it jolted down my leg so they pulled it out, took a half hour to get back in, I had dialated while sitting up and so I felt most of it so my next two I did without. Much more worth it and will be trying it again. The last one they shot me with something tho because I couldn't stop my leg from shaking, I think it was a muscle relaxer. But it helped when my mom rocked the bed while contacting. She did it for a hour of active labor. She was beat the next day lol.
Ignoring everyone helped me lol... dont let them interfere with you too much I have had 2 natural births with no pain killers. It hurts at the end alottttt.Your early contractions sshould be alright. Please stay away from picotin it will make your contractions unbearable.
it is possible you can do it and the pain stops once baby is out. Dont fear it rwlax and try not to give birth laying on your back....
im looking into hypnobirthing this time around they seem to have soothing tips.
Lol not birthday! Birthing***
I know contractions are going to hurt like hell, I'm more scared of the actual birthday part & ripping that I'm not going to be able to handle! Good job on all the natural births! Especially at 17 be proud!!!! I'm 19 and I'm nervous but trying to stay positive an confident.
I am pregnant with number 4 and my other 3 were all natural... I tried the gas and air but didnt like it so just ended up doing it without. My first baby I was only 17 and couldnt believe I did it without pain relief or anything, it made me feel so proud of myself. Dont get me wrong it hurt... a lot! But when that gorgeous little baby is in your arms you realise its all worth it. I had my 3rd in a birthing pool and the warm water really does help relax you I am planning a water birth with this one too. X
I think its much better than to get a c section because you dont wanna get cut...but its painful at for my first it seemed forever so I can see my daughter. I did get the epidural though I couldnt stand the pain and that seemed to help with the pain. And you recover fast. I was literally walking already in 2 hours after giving birth lol
