Hi mom's to be!
I really want to have a natural birth,  does anyone have suggestions on how to make it more relaxing, the experience in general? What has helped you in the past and what hasnt? Anyone else thinking about having a natural birth?

I'm hoping for a natural birth, but I'm being induced Monday, which I've heard makes labor a little more intense, so we'll see what happens! I'm bringing my Xbox to the hospital with me as my distraction. I figure if you can keep your mind busy enough, it won't be quite as bad. I sure hope I'm right! Lol

A natural birth is so much better than induction as you have more control and its less painful  you can ask not to be induced and just get monitored until baby arrives. Had 2 natural births and 2inductions and due nextbaby in may 2015 and natural all the way. Xbox sounds great but will be absolutely no help. Xxxx

Heating pads, walking, deep breathing, all of those things should help! Walking will speed it up and breathing correctly will help you stay calm and relaxed. Heating pads do wonders! That's what I'm planning on doing when I go into labor. And try not to go to the hospital right away. Labor is easier if you can do it at home because you are in you're own home. So when contractions are a good 5 minutes apart and super painful that's when you go to the hospital! Good luck(:
