nausea

Hello, I'm 6 weeks pregnant and every time I eat I remain nauseous all day no matter what it is .. I haven't been to the doctors yet but I wanted to know if it's safe to take pepto for it. Thanks.

Pepto is not recommended during pregnancy.  Try things that have ginger (ginger tea, ginger ale) or vitamin b6 and doxylamine (unisom).

I would recommend speaking to your midwife. The only information I have found about pepto is that you should check with a pharmacist or medical professional before taking when pregnant.

I found that ginger tea (although I dislike it) really helped with nausea, as did milk. Cheese biscuits are supposed to be good too.

It will pass - just persevere with it :) you will be feeling grand in no time
