nightmares in pregnancy

I know I've had them before in previous pregnancies but not this one. Last night I had a dream I had a still born. I'm 36 weeks tomorrow and Idk what to think of the dream

I had a dream of having a still born also. I've had multiple crazy dreams since I've been pregnant! It kind of scares me but obviously nothing I can do about them.

My dreams are indeed quite vivid at times, but not always in a bad way. Sometimes they remind me of how wonderful it was to dream as a child. Other times, I wake up and start stressing or worrying about things my subconscious already understood are possible but I wasn't ready to accept yet or are so unlikely that it only causes undue stress. They scare me so much sometimes that I have to take a breather and tell myself that everything is okay, or calm myself with numbers, almost like I am the child all over again. It makes me wonder if my mind is trying to prepare me for what it takes to soothe a child's unease. Ftm, btw.

I don't know about you, but sometimes rationalizing the odds of something from my dream happening verses the situation I'm in, helps soothe my mind. Also even if the odds are higher than normal, I can try to take steps to ensure the best case scenario for myself and my baby. You can do the same. If you dream you have a stillborn, take steps to ensure you are providing the best growing environment for your baby by: taking your vitamins, eating healthy, staying away from the x-list while pregnant, and being cautious about how much you do during your waking hours.

I used to have dreams about a lot of blood during birth, so I always ensure I take my iron everyday and pay extra attention to the results of my bloodwork from the docs' offices. Those dreams went away on their own after a while. Note I just have to worry about whether or not I'll be a good mom... lol.

Pregnancy dreams are the worst, they're so vivid and terrifying :( generally they play to something we are worried about and our weaknesses, things that we try not to put much thought into in our waking hours.
