nipple stimulating self induction?

I'm 38weeks and I herd nipple stimulating is the most effective way to kick start labour?  Has anyone tryed it?

It will not induce labor. It will only help to progress a labor that has already started.
If it induced labor, no one with a breast happy partner would stay pregnant.

This was something I wish I didn't do. Wish I should of just waited it out. My worry was being induced at that following week and I wanted to go all natural. "Thinking this was all natural" it send off a hormone a lot like potassium. It's a natural way of doing potassium. When water has already broke. That way the nurse can monitor your contractions.

My doctor when pregnant with my son suggested it. I should of study on it more. If you water breaks doing this, makes contractions irregular and a lot harder than needed. When doing nipple stimulation and your contractions come closer than 3 minutes apart you should stop. Can cause stress on baby. Please read more into this.
