not a question, but...

My hubby and i moved in with his brother and sister in law, and they were chill the first week we were here. Now they expect us to do all the chores, "because we don't have jobs yet". Been here 3 weeks and they are treating us like slaves instead of family. We are trying to get jobs but have been screwed over for the time being. The sister in law complains about everything and tries to make it our fault. I have almost snapped on both of them on multiple occasions for complaining about stupid stuff that we did or didn't do, but i tell myself it's not worth it, because i know they are in the wrong. We are about to pack our stuff into a honda civic and drive 3 hours to live with his grandparents because they would at least show us some respect and not expect us to clean up after them. Sorry this is so long. I needed to get it off my chest.

They also expect us to pay rent when they arent paying for the house or utilities because the house was being foreclosed on, and we might get kicked out.

Yeah, but we dont even dirty up any dishes and when we do, we wash them right when we are done with them. They let the dishes pile up then complain that nobody does dishes. We also take better care of their 13 month old than they do. Like i said, we are trying really hard to get jobs but have been screwed over. They are letting someone else stay here but they dont expect him to do jack. We are being treated with utmost disrespect. They never ask us politely to do stuff, and when we do something they dont even thank us or even mention it.

Have you tried talking to them and tell them how you feel ? I know when I let my husband's cousin and his gf move into our house I did expect them to do all the house hold chores because they were not working and my husband and my self do work. I was not going to let two adults sit in my house all day when I was out busting my butt, i did expect my house to always be clean and dinner to be done when my husband and I got off of work.
