not finding out the sex of little one :?

Both sides of the family want to find out what we are having (I'm 21 weeks) and I told the lady at the ultra sound to not tell me. I'd rather find out when they are born. But my husband is pushing to find out also -_- everybody wants to know before little one comes out and I honestly just want the surprise. This is our first one, should I give in and find out next appointment or stick to my guns?

dont give in. this is my our first baby and I want it tobe a suprise. yyour husband will find out when the baby is born. I think its unfair for u to have to give in when in the end its inevitable that u will find out the sex so ask him to be patient.  ;). just imagine how beautiful it will be when the midwife says heres your little boy/girl and gives u your baby for the first time. it will be amazing and everyone will be super excited waiting to find out what u have had.

This is my second child, my husbands third. I had a boy 14 years ago so a part of me didn't want to know because my husband has two girls already and I feared that he would be disappointed if it wasn't a boy. I really wanted a girl but the more I thought about, it didn't matter to me so long as the baby was healthy.  My son's father was disappointed that he wasn't a girl and that was really hard for me so sometimes I think it would have been better to not know because someone may be disappointed and it could be stressful. I'm just as excited to know we are having a boy and my husband is over the moon, but it was a bit stressful for a while when we didn't know.

Zchik, we're also using a lot of blue, even if we end up having a girl. It is such a pretty color. :)

I want to know so bad so I can get cute cloths. However, I am doing a gender reveal party because my husband and I are scared and trying to make the special moments more happy and enjoyable for this unborn bundle of joy.

I'm due in Feb. And my husband and I decided to keep the sex of the baby a surprise! Since it's our last child. 4 kids that's enough! Lol. There are times I have to know but I remind myself as long the baby is healthy that's all that's matter the most:)

Honestly, the way I see it, it's a surprise no matter if you find out via sonogram or at birth. I'd rather find out earlier to be prepared.

Thanks guys :3 Ima stick to my guns then. Were gunna go with blue whether its a boy or girl (it's just a great color lol) so decorating the nursery isn't hard. My husband just wants a baby girl so bad I think he will explode soon lol!

Why don't you have your husband find out and you don't. The ultrasound tech can write down the gender for your husband and have you look away from the screen while checking for gender.

My husband and I are also waiting to find out until delivery, but he almost changed his mind at the anatomy scan appt. If he had changed his mind I would have let him find out and just not tell me.

I'm a first time mom and I want it to be a suprise as well! so as much as friends and family want to know, I will still not budge haha. It's my decision and I feel that people should respect that choice. Back in the day they didn't have ultrasounds so I'd figured to stick to the old way. Its more exciting like this :)

I like the idea of having a suprise! We did find out the gender because its our first one and we wanted to have all the stuff before she comes. But i think once we have both a boy and a girl , then we'll have a surprise :D
