not sure!

I've been getting a lot of discharges every time I go to the loo but yesterday I had one of the biggest ones i ever had and it was a lot clearer than the others but no blood ect does this mean labour could be sooner? I'm 36 weeks but I've been told I'm more likely to get a bad back instead of contractions.

Sounds like mucus plug to me. But I wouldn't worry because your body will replace it if you're not ready for labor.

I'll keep an eye on the pains! There's been no sign of blood yet but the discharge I last had was very long and stringy so is that the official mucus plug? I'm getting some pressure too in my bum so is that another sign of things moving quickly?x

I'd say if the pains get any more intense stronger closer together then I'd be going into hospital also keep checking when you wipe for the colour because if there's blood then it means your cervix is thinning this also happened to me the night before I had my little lad and I noticed that afterwards my pains were a lot quicker together.

Ah thank you hun! Yeah I've been getting a lot of period like pains but nothing too intense and also some pain on the sides kinda like a dragging feel!

Sounds like your mucus plug especially if it was snot like when I lost mine on my first pregnancy I was just gone 38 weeks and three days after that happened my waters broke naturally and my boy was born the day after. But that depends as some people can loose it weeks before labour happens only for it to grow back but considering your gone 36 weeks you could go into labour any time. As for the contractions what I experienced was cramps that were like period pains only a lot more intense. Hope this helps :)
