So I'm bad at taking any kind of pills and now I don't remember the last time I took my prenatal vitamins. Is it really necessary ?

I don't take my iron pils just because I was getting constipated. And I do forget to take all my vitamins every now and then but I know it's very important for our babies growth. When I do take them I gag I hate it

If you don't have a good diet you should, if you don't then is recommended.  They got my girl sick every time she took them so she stopped,  she's now 35w3d and they baby and her health is perfect.

I take chewable prenatal vitamins and they make it so much easier. Plus they taste really good, and it makes me look forward to taking them since they taste good. As stupid as that sounds lol

In my opinion it's important especially in the first trimester they need more folic acid and other things that the vitamins help with. I've been taking mine every day since 4 weeks and at first they made me sick so I started taking them right after supper with a glass of milk and it worked really well. I've taken mine every day (obviously I forget a couple days)  and I'm 37 weeks and will continue to take them until he's born :) try setting an alarm on your phone or something :)

Personally, I'm taking mine. But my aunt is on her 5th and hasn't taken them with any of hers. All healthy babies.

Hey thanks for the alarm recommendation. I'll deff start doing that. I want my baby to be healthy and so far so good. I just don't like any type of pills. I used to take so many before for my allergies so I kinda hate medicine but anything for this little one. I'll have to remember to mention it to the doctor. I just wish they weren't so big lol

No they aren't necessary, the baby gets what it needs from you, they are available and recommended to make up for what the baby takes From you
