offended?? (vent)

SO I'm going to be 39 weeks tomorrow and I had an appointment today. I told my doctor I had brown discharge and I lost some of my mucus plug ..he straight up cut me off and told me no it could of been my mucus plug because I would of been in labor within two days ... He checked to see if I was dialated and he said there is old blood in there and .then he told me if I'm doing drugs?? I was like what ? And asked if I smoked METH?'!?! like really are u kidding me ?? I asked if I looked like a crack head to him and he said you never know . because old blood or bleeding means I'm doing drugs? And he doesn't know why I would have brownish blood ??
Btw I do NOT do drugs . before I got pregnant Issmoked marijuana here and there and he said he seen "drugs in my system" but I haven't smoked since or had an urge to. I don't know... I'm kind of mad and offended that's what he thinks of me ? Am I over reacting ???

I would see if you can't switch doctors even with how far along you are! That's not even true! And is one of the most rude unprofessional things I have ever heard come from a doctor!!

I would call around and ask for another doctor tell them how he made you feel and you arent comfortable going back to see him

And I lost some more of my mucus plug today too.. And it was a little brownish.... Also when your cervix is getting ready for labor and softening and your thinning you can bleed lightly and it could of been left over blood. Not only that me and my boyfriend have sex like 2-3times a day I'm sure it could be from that too

I have no drugs in my system and him telling me that. I know he's lying I never once done hard core drugs and when I USED to smoke marijuana I had a prescription due to my herniated disc and my insomnia.. He's full of crap
If he tries calling Cps I'm taking him down. He had no right to do that even if he drug tests me every time I see him I KNOW for a fact there is no drugs in my system. He is very unprofessional..
He actually told me and my boyfriend before if we heard what was going on next door because he was doing a biopsy on another patient. Which I don't even think is ethical in the profession...
And he is the only doctor in the office. I really don't feel comfortable with him delivering my baby. Do you think it would be too late to look for another on this late ?

It probably was ur mucus plug and ur most likely having the brown blood from him examining you ..... I would of punched him in the face ... im 38w3d and I lost my mucus plug at 34 weeks and still havent went into labor that was extremely unprofessional of him .... him falsely accusing you of things can get you into alot of trouble and cps can take your baby speak to a higher authority at your office and tell them your no longer comfortable with him being your doctor and you need a female doctor

wouldn't he be obligated to call cps on you if he has seen drugs

You can actually report him for that I suggest switching to a female ob and you can loose your mucus plug and not go into labor for a week. Smh I had a lady at my obs office who was really rude to me too. It sad that people feel the need to act like that.

Not at all. That is not professional. That's actually just rude and presumptuous. I would be furious. I think I'd be switching OBs or at the very least speaking to someone else on staff there.
