oh my coworkers.you jerks

So my doctor wanted me on bedrest after a preeclampsia scare. I have swollen feet and hands.its unbearable and ive gone into preterm labor 4 times at work.im a cashier so im constantly on my feet sometimes in one spot constantly.well i didnt want bed rest so he wrote a note telling my job i need to sit on a stool to avoid me having her early.im 34 weeks.so i bought my own stool to work.my coworkers were acting like they were in high school! They were whispering about me and pointing at me.really? Ive been out of high school for 5 years.give me a break.not only that, these are women and women who have been telling me i need a stool this whole time! Now that i have one, theyre complaining like children.hypocrites! One even thought i made preeclampsia up! Who knew cashiers also had PHDs?! Gotta love it :)..sorry ladies..needed to vent!

Preeclampsia isn't anything to play with and rest is really needed I got it right at 34 weeks and I had to be induced at 35 weeks because it got so bad. I never got to rest. My mom was they same way as the people you are working with. I guess the older ones forgot how hard pregnancy can be. You just stay comfortable and take care of yourself don't worry about what those women are saying it ain't none of their business that's in between you your boss and doctor.

When I get rude customers I just tell them they should talk to the manager so that they can schedule more ppl...and just tell them is a natural and normal thing to do while pregnant. I had a customer telling me I was milking the situation (being pregnant and sitting at the job)  I told him well I'm pregnant and me sitting down does not interfere with me charging for ur items and giving u good customer service, he just never said anythingafter that, he is a regular customer so I see him probably 3+ times a week.

I am glad u get a stool. As of yet i dont look pregnant much and customers are rude if i try to run to the restroom when no one is in the store i come back out and get rude comments on how i should be doing my job when im the only one there. Just ignore those women maybe they r just so old they cant remember back to when they were pregnant.:-)

I am miserable at my job. Work at a gas station. On my feet the entire time. 99% of the nights i dont even get to eat from the time i get there to when i leave then im so sore in my belly and back i shower and straight to bed. Last night my feet hurt so bad took me hours to fall sleep and this morning i didnt even want to get up to use the restroom and when i did i was crying. The manager says one thing then does another. So im working tons of four evenings in a row and in another two weeks i will have six in a row. Im trying to find another job but am not having any luck. Im 21 weeks w an lpn license but there isnt any of those jobs around here :-(

I understand u 100 % I'm a cashier as well and my managers or coworkers are very understandable when it comes to me being pregnant. I can sit the whole shift if I want to...I'm about to hit 37weeks on tuesday and I'm taking my leave a week before my due date...
