okay, long vent!

I have a sister n law who lives with her grandma (husbands grandma to) she has a 15 month baby girl, she usually leaves with the 87 yr old grandma to baby sit all day, me and my husband go over there to check on like take out her garbage and clean up for her since she is unable, so there's no avoiding the sister n law, she is in her 20`s and is literally free loading off this poor woman, I wouldn't care as much if she at least helped out and cleaned up she ditties dishes ND leaves her babies stuff everywhere! She is so mean to the grandmother even after everything she's done for her. She recently found out I was having a baby girl and she is so jealous!! I know very immature right? She was so mad that when I Texted everyone and told them what we we're having she completely ignored it, she spends 60$ on an outfit for her daughter instead of even buying that baby a bed to sleep in, she uses that baby like a pet not a human being, just worried about impressing other people ? Me and my husband had also stayed with the grandma for two months when we came back from Florida till we got on our feet but we helped out we cooked and bought food and everything! But she literally does nothing and she even gets the poor grandma to pay for her car insurance and car payment or tires or whatever cause she spends all her money on clothes. I love her little girl to death and want what's best for her and it just breaks my heart her mother is that way..I've offered to watch her told sister n law I even had milk and bottles and wipes and a bed (that i had bought for my unborn baby )she could use instead of leaving her at home w someone who is in no health to take care of her, but she turned it down I guess cause of pride issues idk..but I just had to get it all off my chest..

I'd call the Elder Abuse hotline in your state. Thwy will "randomly" show up n investigate the situation and make the necessary changes so u dont have to be in the middle. And Gradma will be taken care of. Its sad but Im pretty sure shes gonna find another person to leech off of. Poor baby

That's how it was for my husband and I with his brother & wife. Me & my sister in law were pregnant both at the same time 2months apart I was so happy and glad I figured it'd be awesome our kids would grow up together but it became a competition! Finally after I told them how I was feeling it stopped and we are all super close again!! You said you've tried talking to her but she ignores you hu? :/

That's tough! I'd be so mad about that she seems very irresponsible & should grow up and be grateful. Sheesh! Hope the situation gets better

So she leave the baby with the 87yr old grama?! Yeah that'd definitely annoy me to!! Your bf should talk to her and also to his grama! That's very rude & ungrateful of her to be rudde to her grama and use her... At least clean sheesh
