overweight and pregnant

I think all the things they say about being overweight while pregnant aren't really true and basically apply to every single lady that's pregnant. I'm almost to the end of my 2nd pregnancy and haven't had any of the issues they say you get when you are bigger and I am considered "obese"

End of rant lol

The only complications I have so far with any of mine has been not going into labor and having to have c sections. Other than that, I'm 10 1/2 weeks with my 3rd and a regular diabetic, over weight as well. I've not gained any weight except the 3 lbs I lost when I got sick at week 5.

Same here, I'm overweight but have diabetes that is controlled and on medication for high blood pressure that I check multiple times a day and is normal.  So far week 20+4 and i still don't feel pregnant and have absolutely no systems.   Dr said so far everything is healthy even though I have gained 8 pounds so far.  Everyone including me expected it to be hard from the beginning but as long as we take care of ourselves a plus size woman can have a healthy pregnancy.

Me neither. Sometimes its mind boggling for me to see "healthy" women with all these complications like hypertension and gest. diabetes. I am morbidly obese and I am on my 3rd uncomplicated pregnancy. Im 36wks today. And I've only gained a total of 9lbs. My doc says that pretty darn good.
