What to expect?

Ok so i know this can sound kinda dumb, im not a ftm this is my second pregnancy but i wanted to know how do you know when your in labor? With my first i was induced and i mean i pretty much knew what to expect, but with this pregnancy i feel like its totally different. So my question is how do you know when its time to go to the hospital.

I labour at home until I can't handle the pain then go to hospital...so like Mrswise wise said contractions every 3-5mins..if ur unsure drink a large glass of ice water lay on left side if they go away then it's false labour

Either when your water breaks, or if you're having contractions every 5 minutes lasting 1 minute for 1 hour. That's what I've been told :)
