pain killers after c section.

Hey ladies what kind of pain killers are offered as take home medicine? I'm sure it just can't be Tylenol? I'm making charts for my hubby and he thinks its just that. But I would imagine with major surgery you'd get something stronger.

Lmk!

Thought so. Thank you ladies. Making charts for my hubby. So its easier for him to remind me when I need too.

Oddly it wasn' t at all.....I hate medicines and never take pain relievers; but, shockingly  it didn't have the drowsy effect on me that I had previously heard it would...it just diminished the incision pain tremendously. As long as I took the vicodin prescribed,  I was able to move well and enjoy my baby...and I' m a supersized plus gal so I just knew that it was going to be difficult to maneuver and it wasn't.  My hubby was at home with us the first week but by then hecwent back to work and was on 12hrs/7days a week so I had to do it all with baby. That vicodin definitely helped but by I no longer needed it after the first 10 days .
