So I had my girls name picked out already and I really like the name paisley I think it's a great name for her not a lot of ppl name their kids that. And everybody's like its "too white" remind you my baby is half black and half European so she's mixed it just pisses me off because there's no such thing as a white name and they always have a input like this is my child you can name your child whatever you want but don't talk about my child like that! I don't care that paisley is a pattern NOBODY CARES kids don't care about that stuff only adults how I see it and it's a shame...rant over
I'm white and ppl say alesha is a black name but spelled like a white person would spell it... ppl are crazy lol . Doesn't matter what anyone thinks. They also say that adella is an old lady name and then I tell them it's after my grandmother who was della then thr like oh yeah old fashion name but pretty. Lol oh well I love it. And as long are dell as u love your choice go with it.

My baby is going to be half black. Who cares what we name our children? They are ours and I think Paisley is a beautiful name! If my baby is a girl, her name will be Lydia Anne.
This is why I don't want to share any of the good names with anyone haha. I have no problem telling them names we've thrown out but frankly I don't think I want anyone else's opinion on my baby's name other than her father's. If people don't like the name at least they might be a bit more hesitant to complain about it once it's already on the birth certificate!
My name is ceraea like it's no where near any of the names online like Idk what it is I was told it's African and then Muslim like can't they just let me live lol I was surprised I could spell my name in day care!! Its just I like being different and standing out. They dont
Love The name choice!! Paisley Grace Is to adorable! Trust me I completely understand how u feel Because I really Like names That No one else has For my kids. My four year old daughter Is named Tailiana (tay-lee-on-uh) her middle name Is meleah. She's mixed with Italian Puerto Rican and black and alot of people say her name Is to black Or to Spanish and I'm Like really? It's not Even in a baby name book with a meaning Or origin So shhhhhh. Lol. But Then I have people Who When They hear her name They are Like Wow such a unique and beautiful name. Idc What people think either way Because I adore her name and I couldn't picture her being named anything else. She decided to name her baby sister Kailaya Olivia and I love That name too and Also get The It's to black speech. And again, I Don't care! I love The name. It's unique and It's staying. I call my kids taili and Layla as Nick names and Some people Call The oldest tay Or tay tay and I Don't mind If She doesn't. My mom calls her taz Like tasmanian devil and I think It's cute... my sister wants to call The baby kylie and That's fine with me too. The nickname doesn't have to be specific Or only one It kinda ranges between What Other people Like calling The kid in my opinion... and It makes a special little bond between The kid and whoever calls them That cause It's That persons "special" name For them. If people Don't Like The names You choose Then They can have their own baby and choose a name for them. Who cares about The opinion of others!!
Post sounds like my mom. She is hounding me to name my child after a family member. Smh I say it's your child so name her the name that you picked out for her.

I'm having a mixed girl too and I've heard that when I've been throwing around names. Or that the name is too black. That came from her black father. Lol whatever. It's gonna be what I decide and really once the birth certificate is done that's her name. People can shut up and deal with it. And once you start introducing her around they won't say anything.

Cute name.let me remind you that's your baby you can name her whatever you're going to take care of her not those other people I had to realize that myself I'm going to name my baby girl Harmoniee and a lot of people was like they didn't like that name or it was too white ... I agree with everyone name your child whatever you want , because at the end of the day its your child . Im naming my baby girl Priya and some of my co-workers didnt like it at 1st but eventually after they found out I wasnt changing it they jumped on the band wagon .

It's a beautiful name! I completely understand how you feel everytime i tell someone a name I'm considering they ruin it. My husband said who gives a f... what other people say. Don't let other people ruin your name!
Name her whatever you want! She's your little girl it's yours and your partners decision - those others can just keep their opinions to themselves! Paisley is a beautiful name :)

Paisley is a beautiful name... It blows my mind that some people still see the color of our skin and make decisions based on that. Time for everyone to move on.... We are all the same, human beings, and no matter what color our skin is, or what religion we believe in we all deserve to be treated with respect... There is no right or wrong names dependent upon our backgrounds. You name your baby Paisley, and do it with your head held high... It's a beautiful name for your little angel!
I'm mixed race with a completely white name. I like my name! And I've actually only had one person ever say anything about it being a "white name".
