I had yeast infection just a couple if weeks back, the 3 day treatment didnt work on me so I was given a 7 day treatment which cleared it up. But I read up on natural methods to treat the yeast infection and some say putting a clove of garlic or half a garlic up there shud clear it up. u sleep with t and then take it out by morning. bt do get advice on that cuz I never tried it so I dnt really knw hw it works

I used had thrush for the first time at 22 weeks and used natural yoghurt. It cleared up within 3 days and was extremely soothing.  DON'T use canestan as it hasn't been proven safe! Just stick to natural methods like natural yoghurt and tea tree oil. :)

Yes kinkenz is right if it is a bacteria infection then yes antibiotics. If you have white discharge no smell looks like cottage cheese you'll see chunks when you pee. That is a yeast infection you do need to get that treated as well it only gets worse.

The doctor prescribed me Diflucan one time pill it works faster than the 3 day treatment of monistat. Depending on how far along you are you can do that but call the nurse and ask. I'm in the third trimester so it isn't as bad unless I was in the first or second.

Sounds like to me you have a yeast infection. Is you're discharge white chunky? Or light yellow and a slight smell?

hi yes I have had thrush before and I'm now getting over a yeast infection. It burned so bad and was inflamed I had a hard time walking. I'm 31 weeks pregnant. I had bacteria vaginosis which I have never heard of and didn't know I had it. The doctor told me mostly all pregnant women get it due to not having menstrual cycles. So you either have that or yeast. I got the yeast infection after taking the antibiotics to clear up bv.
