Just bummed

I have been out of work for 2 years. I live in a city where jobs are hard to come by. I know the further along I get, the less likely someone will hire me. My husband just started a new and will be making a little more money, but we still can't survive on one income. I have no clue what to do anymore. Babysitting for under $5 an hour just isn't worth it to me. Every day that goes by without a call back just crushes me more and more. I'm just so lost.

I feel for ya!! I had a decent job up until I was 4 months pregnant and then my work let me go for being pregnant.... Left me and my fiance in a really bad situation. Living off one income was extremely hard. We were barely getting by, getting further and further in debt.... It didn't seem like anything was going to get better. But it always does! I kept telling myself things will get better. It was extremely hard on our relationship and my fiance was stressed out to the max. It was definitely our lowest moment thus far. But I believe you need to go through hard times in order to really appreciate the good times. And its not like anyone would hire a 6 month pregnant woman ... I felt pretty useless too. Thankfully after what felt like forever I was able to get unemployment which has helped pull us out of the gutter. I sincerely hope things start to look up for you!! I know it's hard to deal with especially while pregnant!

Don't feel worthless. I know it's hard especially cause you wanna make money for your family. Something will come along someone will give you a chance! Just don't stress cause your baby feels your stress stay postive (:

I lived in a place like that to, it was rough it was like people that have jobs have had that job for years. . Umm that's hard unless you find something where you would have to drive but that might get tiring.

I've tried Avon. There just isn't a big market for it here. And I have no friends to use to get started. I've been wanting to maybe become a notary, just can't afford it. Sounds like a broken record. I've thought about a lot stuff. Can't even get a fast food job here.

Can you do something from home like Jet Blue or Human? Or something online? Idk. There's got to be some options.

I've thought about doing cakes, but my carpal tunnel is pretty severe (pre-pregnancy) and just keeps getting worse. So that's out. Really don't know how I would be able to work a regular job either. Just holding the phone and typing makes my hands go numb.

I understand but somewhat helps right? You just have to keep that in mind. Try applying at a church. I work at a daycare in a church and absolutely love it and love that they are so understanding

$20 a day...used for gas in our beast of a gas guzzling mobile. Just doesn't help very much.

Oh no under $5 an hour! You need to demand more because you have a family as well.  I hope things get better:)
