preggy ok heartburn treatments?
Im 5 weeks and im having horrible heartburn. I cant get my doctor to call me back and after a full week of this I really dont want to go to the walk in clinic for heartburn. What can I take that wont be harmful?
Unfortunately im lactose intollerant so a glass of milk would make it waaaay worse! Lol. Good to know I can take tums! *phew*
Try drinking a glass of cold milk.... I also tried tums.... But the milk usually does the tick for me....
Tums should be fine. Dose for a pregnant woman is a limit of 5/day. Whenever I need to take them for heartburn I just make sure it's not right after I take my prenatal vitamin because they do have calcium in them.
