pregnancy and sore gums

So I have read about pregnancy gingivitis but I made it all the way up until the last week before my gums started swelling and getting sore spots. I mean, they have bled alot when I brushed but I guessed that it was because of my new hard tooth brush I accidentally bought. I brush my teeth every day, and my gums too! I don't know how or why it came at the end. I have started flossing and swishing the past two days as well, and its starting to help but ouch! It hurts to eat :( anybody else get this, this late in the game??

Mine has eased up a little since I've been flossing daily and swishing but it is still sensitive and annoying and makes me feel like I'm not taking care of my teeth but I know I am!!:0

I just started getting it yesterday at 35 weeks. So painful and I dont know wat to do. I was up most of the night painting my living room and bathroom to try and take my mind off the pain.
