Hello ladies!
I'm 10+6  and caught a terrible cold. my nose is blocked and all that can help me at the moment is the nasal spray Sudafed. My doctor said better not to use sudafed, but to take paracetamol instead. paracetamol doesn't unblock my nose though. what are your thoughts on this? have u some other advices? i'm miserable! :(

I have a bad cold as well I when to the ER the give me a iv and some nasal spray and cold medicine when I'm home I put Vicks under my nose and it help me a lot

I have had nasal congestion for a while now and have been doing neti pot for a couple of days now.  I feel way better!

My doc said sudafed pills were ok but maybe it wasn't until 2nd trimester.  Try peppermint on a tissue or scented puffs?  Chicken noodle soup, humidifier in your bedroom, rest, tea. I like the Starbucks passion tea with honey & lemon when I'm sick.  U can buy at grocery. It really helps me.

If you need to, just take the sudafed. I was miserable for 2 weeks with some cold virus going around and had to take afrin, sudafed, and allegra around the clock or i couldn't function. If the benefit outweighs the risk then go for it.
