ROAD TRIP!!!

I live in Colorado but all my friends and family live in California. (about 1000 miles) I want to drive there for a baby shower when I am about 7 months preggo. Has anyone done a long road trip that late. I am a low risk pregnancy with no complications so far. Sincethey all want to come out for the birth I cant make my huge family come out here. Any suggestions to help me through it. Big possibility I will be driving alone (husband is in the army)

Normally I would fly, but I have a ton of stuff to bring home from the baby shower and its too expensive to fly and ship all the stuff back

Greyhound? Or flight?
You're a pregnant woman traveling alone. It can't be done in one morning so find someone to drive you!

Omgness i love in co too...and have the same question i was going to go to newyork in late july on a road trip my family has told me to just check with my dr and get ot approved but I'm a high risk pregnancy... But im pretty sure you should be okay as long as it's before 35 weeks and just stop frequently to strech those legs and move around a little

Take frequent breaks to get up to walk and if you feel tired rest as much as you need to. Also drink a lot of water.
