preterm labor?

So I went to the hospital last night after having BH that became painful. Come to find out I was having real contractions. They put me on a monitor, and I was having them like every 20 minutes or so. Anyway they did a full pelvic work up and did blood work and everything looked great, but they still couldn't find out why I was having preterm contractions. They thought because I had sex with my husband, although it was past the 24hr mark, they thought it could be the sperm that caused the contractions. Long story short I was given Percocet and given restrictions and to call my doc to get an earlier appointment than the one I already had scheduled for the first Friday in March. So I have an appointment Monday morning to see if restrictions will be lifted or if more will be put on Smh I dint want my lil girl to come early but at the same time I just want her healthy and if it means early delivery for her to survive then I'm like ok. But of course the longer she is in the better! Anyone else have preterm labor scare but didn't deliver until way later?

This is my 3rd dealing with preterm labor.  My 1st started at 25wks and with meds n bed rest made it to 36wks. My 2nd contractions (not BH) started at 21 wks. I endured weekly iv meds, biweekly shots. Oral meds and strict bedrest. Had a potty chair by bed only allowed up for trips to Dr. Made it to due date. time 7+years later I made it to 31wks before having to have weekly IVs n shots n oral meds. I'm 35wks now my arms look like bruised pin cushions, goal this time is 37wks and then taking her. So it can be done but it is hard physically and emtionally . good luck
