question for mom's that already have kids.
Did your baby go through a "resting" period before you gave birth? I'm 37 weeks and my son has been quiet for a while and my whole family, and myself thinks that he will come soon.
I would just call doc and maybe yr doc will do a stress test just to give u peace of mind. I was experiencing less movement and my doc now has me now doing stress test every week. I am 34 weeks. I haven't had any serious problems with this pregnancy but about 2 weeks ago I notice he was a lot more quiet in there than usual. So I call doc and he set me up with a stress test. Good luck. 99 percent of the time the baby's r fine.
That is what happened with this pregnancy.. One baby ran circles while the other got into the birthing position..
My obgyn said that you can have decreased movement when baby moves into the birthing position.. It takes a lot out of them, so they can rest for hours.. If you do not feel movement after the couple of hours, call your obgyn.
My baby kicked me non-stop right up to delivery. There was no such thing as a "resting period" for me lol.
What pp said, baby shouldn't decrease movements.
Like how quiet? If your baby is not meeting kick counts (moving 10 times in under 2 hours) call your doctor right away. It may feel like rolling rather than kicking now but the baby still needs to be moving.
