I was overweight pre pregnancy and gained over 50lbs with my daughter. I didn't over eat during my pregnancy and when I had her she was perfect and so was the birth. A look t of my gain WS water weight and it quickly dropped off after she was born. I don't know that there is much you can do to lose weight at this point especially if it's water weight. If you are healthy you should be fine, don't let the Dr stress you out about this.
My Dr told me my baby would be born still born because I was too fat... She was and is healthy as ever... Don't let them hateful ******** stress you out!
Unless you have health issues, you're fine. Its almost impossible to lose weight after the 6th month.
Try cooking with raw coconut oil replacing your usual cooking oil. Also eating a couple tablespoons a day helps with weight loss. (Just know it has kind of a chapstick-like consistency so it is not pleasant to eat by itself) I personally spread about a tablespoon on a peanut butter sandwich and it has helped curb my weight gain and helped with constipation
Ask your doctor to check your thyroid! It is important to help a healthy weight during pregnancy or you are at risk for having a c section, a overly big baby, developing hypertension and developing gestational diabetes. Walk fast enough that you are working up a sweat but still able to hold a conversation.
He said the extra weight could cause complications in giving birth?
With my first baby I wad 130 when I got pg and weighed 199 when I went in to deliver. ....all I ate was applesauce icees slim Jims and cereal....lol....idk that I would worry about it unless he thinks it's affecting your baby
