I've had it by regular iv and also pill form by the way. And it doesn't make you constipated thank god
I have been on reglan for awhile now and I love it. I tried zofran and it didn't work for me, it just made me constipated. Reglan is perfectly safe to take. I haven't had any side effects.
Also. If you are worried about side effects, you can try all natural things such as mint.
Ask for zofran 4mg i never heard of reglan i wouldnt take it especially if the side effects scare you
I take diclegis. Works great.
Peppermint soft mints have worked a treat for me. Every time I feel nauseous i chew one n within a few seconds feel better. No nasty side affects either. Hope it helps :)
I dont take any medication during pregnancy, my sister took medication in her pregnancy, and when jayne was born she had a hole in her heart and died 3 days later, all from taking morning sickness medication!
I was on diclegis for the first few months. Its especially made for morning sickness and nausea. One of the only pregnancy safe medications. It worked great for me.
Reglan helps promote gut motility which usually helps relieve nausea/vomiting. It basically helps your stomach empty faster and keeps things moving. It should work. I'm sure that your Dr weighed the risk vs benefit of the meds.
Ya i may end up doing that. I wad on zofran whoch helped for a while, but the last couple days ive taken it ive thrown up right after.
I took a couple things for my morning sickness, it was just so bad. I can't remember but everything I took made me sicker. If it was prescribed by your ob they are confident that it's safe. You can try it or just deal with your morning sickness the old fashioned way, which ia what I ended up doing.
