regular MD when pregnant????

I been sneezing and coughing and have a stuffy nose. Is it ok to go to a regular MD when sick and get antibiotic  if there's an infection ? I'm 20 weeks

I look at it as when ur pregnant ur new dr is ur OB so anything health related u go to ur OB because they know everything about ur pregnancy...plus unfortunately if all u have is a sneeze and cough they prob won't give u anything..part of the joys of being pregnant

I went to my ob when I had a sinus infection and they told me I should've gone to my regular md. I'd still let your ob know what's going on though so they can add it to your chart

You can tell your ob they will help if needed and can prescribe medication if needed. Better to ask then since they know you are pregnant and what is safe for you and baby, just keep in mind, during pregnancy, you do get congested and such. It is normal, but check with your doctor.
