Thank you ladies. I got her from an animal shelter so they automatically do it but she wasn't old enough when I first got her
dont worry about your cat. Of course she will be a bit sick and need rest, so do not worry whem they go and lay somewhere else and dont want to cuddle. Give her a day or two to rest and get back on her feet and after that she will come back to you.
In nature sick animals always go to a calm place because they are vulnerable :)
You are making the right choice. You've just made her healthier by having her fixed and prevented issues of unwanted kittens you have to deal with. My good friend is housing a cat with kittens that was a stray and these kittens are pretty young and this mama cat is pregnant again. This is just not good for her. So sad. Animals are smart but not that smart to hold grudges. You did the responsible thing. good luck
You're welcome! My hubby and I are huge saps when it comes to our animals so I completely understand exactly what you are feeling. It's never easy, especially because they are always so scared of the vet, but it's for the best. After being back home and getting snuggle time with you though she'll be so happy... With ours, since they all got fixed at different times we had the problem of the others hissing and growling because they Smelled like the vets office lol
I will try and get her a new toy. She doesnt like treats lol
Thank you for helping me ease this pain
Awww she'll still love you! ... We have 4 cats (2 male 2 female) and all different ages, they were so happy when they could come home and I made sure I had plenty of treats and a new toy for them
