scared of labor and dying

I'll be 37 weeks pregnant in 2 days FTM and as I get closer to my due date I get more scares thinking about all the things that could go wrong including dying and of course I start crying.
Any support on how to cope and calm down?

I am 1weeks and I have had some long labours like 3 days for 2 of my children and both were 2 weeks late. I am freaking out about this delivery already. I just try to say maybe this one will be different and try to move forward. You will do okay it is natural to be worried that something bad could happen everyone should. But the likelihood of something happening that bad are slim in a hospital setting. So my advice everytime u think about dying change your thoughts and say not today no this birth and try and focus on how u will deliver your bundle of joy anyway u can healthy and happy.
Good luck try not to stress maybe it will happen so fast for u u won't have time to think about it.

I'm like you hun! & I am almost 37 wks too! I feel like any day she could come and even though I am beyond excited.. I am just so nervous and scared about so many things. I just try not to think too much into it. God is looking after us and will be there with us as well.. Also I remember that my closest family and my boyfriend will be there right by my side helping me through this. Everything will be fine! :) think positive and don't let the negative in!! It won't last forever and you won't die! Good luck to you & I hope you let us know when you have your baby!! I want to hear how it went :)

Lol!!! Idk what to say to his other than don't over think ur situation.... Hopefully u will be in a hospital .. With doctors & surgeons and nurses... So your risk of dying is depleted and only thing left is ur fear and why fear death when its a part of life? Js. You're having a baby and the last thing u should be thinking about is dying.

One thing that's not going to happen is,  you're not going to die.

If you give birth within a US hospital,  and you're healthy now,  you aren't going to die.

Best wishes.  You'll get through this fine.  ;D

When I was a first time mom I had the fear huge fear of dying in or after labor...all I can say is pray and try turning the fear into a positive of just focusing on seeing your baby soon! Best of luck to you both!

I dont know about dying but i rather be excited to see my little bundle of joy in the flesh for the first  it gives me this indescribable feeling, this bond like no one or thing can ruin this precious moment that i get to live once.
