semen drug testing

My boyfriend is suppose to be clean and I about know he's not...so without him knowing I wanna drug test him cause he causes a fight when I ask him to take a urine test. So can I secretly drug test his semen/sperm? Or how can I test him without a fight?

While I feel you are 100% correct on not wanting an addict in your life I feel like your going about this the wrong way. Nothing posit for a relationship ever came from sneaking and lying no matter what.  Even if it's to conduct a drug test. What it's you do it and he's clean and finds out what you did? He could leave. And that would be 100% understood.

I'm really not trying to be rude or anything I just want you to have the best chance at a positive outcome and I feel like sneaking a drug test is going to cause nothing but bad things.

I know a lot of people who are clean and have been for years [myself included] who refuse drug tests.  Not because I worry I won't pass, I know I always will. Just because of the stigma. It's embarrassing as a recovering addict to be asked to do that.

Of course if you think he's using again,  your probably correct unfortunately.  It's usually easy to spot the signs. And I understand why you want answers.  But if you really feel he's using just leave.  Sneaking a drug test is wrong and will make you both feel the relationship ended on a sour note.


I do hope this gets resolved.  I hope your relationship gets better and becomes the wonderful relationship all people deserve. And I hope your boyfriend has the strength to get over his addiction.  

But please at least rethink this.

Can't you get his hair tested for drug use? It doesn't even have to be his head hair.

labs will test hair samples.  Snip a piece of his hair while he is sleeping and have it analyzed.  

You are a smart lady to not want to be with someone that uses.  You  have your suspicions that he is using for a reason.  Your gut tells you he is.  Users act different than non users, period.  So, you probably are dead on accurate in your assessment.

It seems like your hanging on to the idea that there's a possibility that he's clean, but the reason I strongly believe he is not is because a person who was an addict and is now clean would be perfectly happy to drug test, it would give him pride to prove it to you.

Id be snooping a lot. Watch money spending.  Look in his car. Trash cans. Talk to people. Maybe even follow him and see if he goes to the place he buys? I know for fact my husband doesnt do drugs, but if I were to ask him to take a test he would look at me like im crazy and laugh and he would still refuse..."out of principle". Hedge actually probably be offended, like, what you think im dumb enough to do drugs? Or I look like a druggie? So he could just be offended? Stubborn?

I don't know if it requires a specific amount but my husband leaves drops on the toilet every now and then. Or maybe you can magically be clumsy and goofy while he is doing his business in the bathroom to make him miss a little?..

Go on a long road trip and give him a large cup of water or Gatorade or something. Make sure it's away from all gas stations. Tell him you won't pull over. Make him pee in a cup. Lol.

May sound shady but you can try and get him really drunk and make him pee in a bottle or something. I had to do it to my brother.

When you find out how to do it, let me know! I don't think there is a way you can do that. I don't know much about it, from my knowledge you can only drug test from hair, urine and/or blood. I have had this issue with my husband in the past. Sometimes I wonder too.

If you suspect he is taking drugs, follow your gut instinct, if he was clean than he would be willing to offer for a test. I would leave him before he does anything to harm you

You really cant. I was an addict for a long time [now thankfully clean almost 2 years] and if they don't want you to find something out, your not gonna. Which drug do you think he's using?  It might be easier to pay attention to the symptoms that drug causes and see if he has any
