I'm 34 weeks pregnant n haven't had sex for about a month n a bit. Is it ok to have sex now after that long? I'm scared if there's a chance I'll start off preterm labour koz I haven't had it in a while

Thanks ladies. Koz a friend told me the same thing happened to her n the next day she went into labor n she was about 36 weeks.
It's just that we've never stayed this long without sex so I'm kinda scared.. like I'm a virgin again lol but I definitely wana have sex before the baby comes koz I know we can't for a while after :3

The nurse told me you can have sex up until you loose your plug or your water breaks

Yes, what beckaabear said. Having sex won't necessarily send you into labor. The way it works is, when your body is finally ready and goes into the early stages of labor, semen from your partner helps your cervix soften and therefore helps you dilate faster. So don't worry about a thing and enjoy yourself. After baby arrives, its no sex for a while :(

They recommend having sex in general to prepare the body for labor. Unless your doc says otherwise it should be safe.
