So ill be 4 months on monday and lately ive been smokin weed. (No rude comments pleaasee) i recently switched doctors and 2marro i have an appiontment with the health educater.. im scared. Whats gonna happen? Im from cali.

And to all the negative comments on here be ashamed of urself this poor girl had reached out for a lil advice if u can't say anything positive bigger off and to all the comments in regards to a small baby both my children were in a completely normal size range.... if anything Is stressing this woman out Is the negative comments not marijuana ... it intact calms u and helps with morning sickness!

I have done a ton of research on marijuana during pregnancy. And guess what? I've beentold its safe. I live in Colorado and was able to get my red card because I was pregnant. I miscarried my last baby because I couldn't keep any food in my system. Now that ive been smoking marijuana I haven't been sick at all and my baby is healthy. I've read a lot about marijuana being recommended to reduce chance of miscarrige land ower stress levels. Also I used it also to help me quit smoking cigarettes which are actually harmful. I think most people that tell you its harmful don't know enough. My advise is to take no ones advice but to research it yourself

I've smoked weed all my pregnancy so far. & I'm 6 months. My baby's perfectly healthy.. Every time I go to the drs (every four weeks) I have to pee in a cup & they run all tests in it & nothing has been said to me.

Weed won't hurt your baby. Only thing u need to worry about Is towards the end if your pregnancy if u go into labor and the weed is in your system it will show up on scans and tests on the baby. And that may get you in trouble

I am a beautician and I met a lot of different people and I have came across a few who say they never left their habit of smoking weed or cigarettes during their pregnancy. Their children are 100% healthy and none came out "abnormal". Everyone is different and everyone will judge in a different way, but you as a woman who is old enough to carry a child should want better for your baby and yourself. It may be hard but you need to be a better version of yourself for that little baby. No one is prefect, and remember different women will judge you based on what they know and what they were taught. But what a lot if people forget is that way back when women use to smoke cigarettes during pregnancy anywhere and everywhere. I myself was a smoker but shortly before I found out I was pregnant I lost all cravings for it and I could no longer stomach the smell. LADYRACE do what's best for your baby and the best for him/her is for you to be healthy and ready. That won't happen if your getting high ignoring the fact that you have a tiny human growing within you. Drop your habit because there's a new one coming. If your old enough to have a child, your old enough to be a responsible adult and do what's best. Good luck!

Smoking weed drinking or even fags will make you have a small birth weight but the baby will be fine not born with two heads or anything like that..  Try to give up if not cut down :)  I have a drink here or there and I'm having my 7th child all my children are fine! A friend or two have smoked in their pregnancy and their children are fine too.. It's the hard drugs class A that can do harm  even  cause misscarrage  :(

Cali won't take the baby. I talked with my doctors on this subject many times over the last few years. Weed doesn't have negative effects on the baby. Do research on the subject and be honest with your new doctor. Tell the doctor your concerns, and try to not let people stress you out about the possibly having an abnormal child ( there's no such thing, only babies th

Doctors can drug test at any time. Just try and not do it so late in your pregnancy because they can get dhs involved.

weed doesn't effect the baby but at the same time they are drug testing moms and if they have anything in their system they will take the baby

I'm sorry but I dont think I can be nI've about this. Dont smoke weed. And if they drug test you they might take ur baby away after ur baby is born. Idc what anybody says but no drugs not even ciggarettes are okay to use while pregnant. Stop smoking that. Its not good for your baby. Quit beingselfish  n be more carinf abiut ur baby.

Think about the stress you will have if you end up having an abnormal child because of your smoking weed. It is just 5 more months you can do it.

My husband obviously who is not the one carrying the baby quit smoking regular smoke not weed.. thinking that may affect our child. He is 37 and been smoking since 13.. he was able to quit and top of the an alcoholic. He was able to stop all that. It is a matter of your mind over matter.. you know you can do it just dont be weak and give in to temptations.

You expect no rude comments, I doubt that's going to happen. You just said you've been smoking weed while 4 months pregnant.  We don't know what will happen at your doctor's appointment tomorrow, they might drug test you, or might not. There's no way we can predict what will happen. You need to stop smoking, not because you might get caught, but for the betterment of your unborn child.
