sick daughter

So i have a 4yr old, she started out with a mild cough about 2weeks ago, now when she coughs i can tell it hurts her throat because she cries. When she coughs she throws up. Shes been throwing up for about a week n a half. I took her to the doctor and all i was told to do was give her nebulizer treatmeants 3x a day. Ive given her childs mucenex, tylenol and warm tea but nothing helps. Any suggestions?

For my boys hot bath helps a lot to losen up mucus and rubbing their chest with some sort of vapor rub

Shes been drinking water, and she gets like this alot. She'll be fine for a while then once she gets the cough thats when i know to be prepared for the worse to come along. Alot of my family think its because she knows im about to have her sister.

keep her hydrated. if it's a virus all you can do is give her therapies to ease symptoms until it passes.
