I go the 29th for my glucose test and kinda wondering what to expect

Fruit punch one kinda tasted like Gatorade, a thick taste. If you go in early dont eat before you go. But dont try any tricks to pass it like eating different the days prior. If you have it it is better you know because of the dangers it can pose for you and baby

I was just told to not eat or drink anything other that wataer from 12 o'clock the night before.

Woops not the orange, the fruit punch. Tastes just like Hawaiian punch but with tons of sugar.

You don't have to fast for your one hour test, just don't eat/drink anything with sugar the day before and the day of. I made the mistake of having Starbucks the day before so I failed my one hour. You can eat some carbs but not to many. If you fail the first time, don't worry. Everyone I know fails the first time, the three hour test *****, you gotta drink an extra sugary drink and have your blood taken every three hours. Hopefully you get the orange one and its easier to drink if its cold. Good luck.

You can drink water that just it. I swear mine is this morning. I a had dreams all night of food and giant cups of cola. lol

I was given the choice of strawberry or orange. Both tasted decent, just like super sugary flat soda. Wait an hour then draw blood to ck sugar levels. Don't eat anything too sugary before you appt, could alter your test results

thanks ladies:-) I have to be there at 8 am that day. The hard thing for me will be the no drinking after midnight bc I wake up anywhere from 1am to 3am to go to the bathroom and get something to drink

I am fasting next week also but my doctor says I dnt have to drink that nasty drink n im so glad

I agree choose orange! Make sure you bring a snack for after the test. I had a headache from all the sugar afterwards.

You have to fast before you go in and then drink a sugary drink , the orange soda tasted fine just flat. Sometimes it may make you feel nauseous because its so sweet but then you just draw blood afterwards and its done

You just gotta drink a very sugary cola flavored drink to see how your body processes the sugar. Takes an hour. If they have orange flavored, get that one. Cola is nasty.
