sleep...

I had my son at 36 weeks and he is a week old today but he doesn't want to sleep in his bassinet or his crib. He wants to sleep in my bed with me. I'm scared I'll roll over on him and kill him in my sleep or pull the blankets up and smother him to death on accident in my sleep. How can I get him back into his bed and out of mine at nights?

My boyfriend had the same problem with his first born. What he did was, when the baby was ready to sleep my boyfriend would take Off the shirt he was wearing and rap the baby in the shirt and then put him in the crib. The shirt had his Scent and the baby was able to fall asleep.

Are you able to move him once he falls asleep? With my first baby, she wanted to do the same thing. i just put her in her bassinet after i swaddled her and sat beside the bassinet and stroked her head or put my hand gently on her belly while i gently rocked the bassinet. It took about 10 minutes but she'd fall asleep.
