Theyre gonna induce me next Tuesday with my twins and they're crib has been set up next to my bed for the past 3 months, I wanted them as close as possible so I can just roll over and look at them and make sure everything's OK. My sister did the same thing with her boy until he was a year old. I'll probably have them like this until they're at least 6 months old
Im just alil worried cause imma be living this way for a while (prob years) and im worried shes gunna be to attached to mommy and not want to be away from me at all (understandable but still)
I lived with my parents for the first 4 years with my son. He slept in the room with me until after my brother moved out and then at age 3 he wanted to be independent and started sleeping in my brothers old room. Each child is different, but they are typically a little more attached if they are in such close quarters with you.
I dont mind her being attached im just worried i wont be able to spend long away from her as im going to be the one doing most of the care 24/7
Our son was in the room for us for the first 10 months of his life. When we moved into our own place, the transition to his own room was no problem.
I have a second room for the baby but I set up all her things In our room cause I figured for the first few months that would be easier for us especially since im breastfeeding.
My son was in our room when we lived at my.moms but my fiance always let him sleep in our bed bc I worked nights and it was easier for him.to just put him back to sleep in our bed. So now he's two years old, he has his own room and bed but still sleeps in my bed. And he is super attached to us he won't go to anyone easily
I have always had my baby in my room with me, and I still have my 15 mnth old in my room, but will probably move him out when baby comes.
