So im having issues wit my childs father while im pregnant , he hasnt been to one doc. Appt wit me, he will go days sometimes a week without talking or checking on me. Idc if he wants to check on me I just would think he would want to hear or know about his unborn child.. but my point im getting to is if he cant help me financially now while im pregnant then how is he gonna take on a child. His 3rd child wit other women.! But I was seriously considering tanniff , through social services... can anyone tell me or give me a little info on how it works. Can u get it while prego or do u have to wait until after the baby is born. I cant work because of health issues so I could use yhe help

Well I'm in California,  you can get it for yourself, and when the baby comes you can add your baby on it. You can also look into WIC.  That'll help as well. You will need your income you make, which is zero, how much rent you pay, bills that you pay, stuff like that. If you get an appointment they will let you know everything that you will need. They will also want you to take him to court for child support.

you can recieve cash aid and foodstamps while your pregnant in some states... they will usually make the father pay it back through child support. hell be giving you some money and hell be giving them money back wether he likes it or not... but you should look into it and go fill out the paper work. the sooner the better.

I'm not sure what state you are in, but here they only give a few hundred a month and then you have to work for them to essentially pay it back. You should check out your states social service website for more info. If you can't work due to health, you might be able to apply for disability.

You should just call the local dept. Lf social services and tell them you want a apt. Not sure exactly about tanniff but they have tons of help like Wic and foodstamps and heap if your living in your own. then when the baby Comes they'll help you get going with child support. it can't hurt to.call: -)
