I love it and my son came out perfectly fine.

I personally eat sushi while I've been pregnant with all my children. I knew the source and trusted where it came from and how it's was prepped before handling. This will always always be a debate so if you question yourself on if you should eat something then best not to. I just think woman in Japan it is a staple for pregnant woman and here its taboo lol all in where you live as well I guess.
You can eat low mercury fish such as salmon, catfish and cod. But it has to be fully cooked. You can also eat crab and shrimp, oysters and clams. The omega3 fatty acids are good for brain development which is why it is recommended to take DHA fish oil pills during pregnancy
Everything you eat must be cooked all the way. Even deli meats. Omg I want an Italian cold cut sandwich so bad but I don't want to have to cook the meats and wait for it to cool.
You can have California rolls and shrimp tempura rolls. No real sushi though :(
Sushi which is usually raw.. is a no no as of any raw meat is a no no. Fish in general is a really bad no no raw or cooked. Its really high in mercury which causes serious birth defects or misscariages.

Only cooked!! Anything raw or under cooked is a HUGE no no!
