How early can you get the sweep? If I ask for it at my 38 week apt do you think k she will do it?

At 38 weeks I had a sweep. It did absolutely no good, I didn't even dialate anymore. I'm 40 weeks and still absolutely no progress. If your body and baby are not ready it won't work.

I went to the doctor yesterday and was 38+6 and my doctor wouldn't do it. he instead did what he called a stretch which apparently isn't the same thing

I'm 38+2 and my doc just did the sweep!!! Hope this works!!

Idk if she will or not but bet your touchy I'm asking her tomorrow lol (she is a midwife)

My last baby he did at 38w 6d.

I remember with my last baby I asked at 38weeks and he said no, they can't do anything to induce labor before 39weeks but  maybe other drs would say yes. Wouldn't hurt to ask.
