Up your water intake, elevate your feet above your heart and also you can buy compression socks. Those help alot! !
Thank you girls I have an appointment today see what they say
My nurse was concerned that I might have preeclampsia when I started to swell about the same week as you. She said I need to work hard at 3 things: 1. exercise. She recommended walking for 20 minutes 3 times a week. Getting your blood pumping can reduce swelling in the long run. 2. Drink plenty of water. If you're worried about drinking too much, weigh yourself and cut the number of your weight in half. If you weigh 150, that's 75. So, drink 75 oz of water a day (a little over nine 8oz glasses). 3. Up your protein intake. Fish, yogurt, meats, beans, hummus, get as many proteins as possible. What helped me a lot was making sure my snacks were protein packed. One more thing I would add is put your feet up, especially after standing or walking for extended periods. If you are concerned, please please please, ask your doc to check you for preeclampsia. It is extremely dangerous to you and your baby. Hope this helps! (:

Keep your feet up, stay off your feet, watch your salt intake. But keeping your feet up will do you really good, every time you sit or lay down.
