I asked this same question more out of curiosity.  My doc said yes you could but ur up for the same risks as if you were not pregnant (dirty needle, infection, ect) but like the other moms said most tatoo places wont even tattoo a pregnant person so ur better off waiting (plus increased blood flow might make it extremely painful lol)

Most reputable tattoo artists will not tattoo you if you are pregnant due to risk of infection. I was also told by my own artist that they will not do it while you are breast feeding for the same reason.

Whenever i get a tattoo i have to sign a waiver saying I'm not pregnant, which is pretty common practice. I wouldn't trust a tattoo shop that would ink you up knowing you're pregnant. Just wait.

Tattooist's don't recommend it and its hard to find one that will tattoo you if they know your pregnant due to multiple risk factors.

Your body experiences extreme stress while you get it done, pregnant or not. Wouldn't want my bub getting flooded by stress hormones. And depending on how far along you're, it could lead to miscarriage or cause premature birth.

I know someone who has had tattoos done while being pregnant. Her children are completely healthy. Personally I won't. But there is people who do. Don't know if its not aloud etc. Go and ask some tattoo shops. Read up on Google etc.
