2 nights bfore my due date. I was up the entire night with really bad lower back pain. I didn't really think much of it but the next morning I went to a friends house and her mom kept telling me it was contractions. I went about my day pretty normally. Then when I got home I got my sisters exercise ball and bounced and watched tv. It actually helped a lot with the pain and then I walked around a lot when I could. I took a warm shower and tried to go to sleep but around 2am decided I should go to the hospital.
Once I got there I was 5cm. My water broke while they were getting me set up in my room. Then several hours later my daughter was born at 1:36pm. I honestly don't remember a lot once I got to the hospital. They tried to let me walk around to help but by then my contractions were too painful. I delivered all naturally and definitely don't regret it.
I'll be 25 weeks tomorrow and starting to get really nervous about labor with this baby!
I was supposed to go to work but I had a backache and decided to stay home. My husband asked if I was in labor and I said no. I didn't feel contractions and I was tired. I spent the day at home. I felt fine except for a slight backache. After my husband got home from work I told him I wanted to go to L&D because I felt like I was leaking. Turns out I was dilated to 3.5 and in active labor. I didn't even feel contractions until about 2 hours before my daughter was born. Had I not been concerned with the leaking I wouldn't have gone in. My back barely hurt. Very different from what I expected.
I went into labor 9 days early. I was supposed to work that night, but the idea of being on my feet all day and working an event all night didn't sound like a good idea, so I chose not to go to work.
Its kinda funny, I had no signs of labor at all! My husband and I had sex that morning, I even went grocery shopping and got my hair cut and then my water broke at 9pm. I didn't start having contractions until about 8 hours after my water broke and they gave me pitocin to speed up the process. I was dialted to a three when I had the epidural done and it ended up wearing off right before hard labor because I got it too early.
It was definitely an interesting day! I went into labor the day before Easter, so of course my actual doctor wasn't on call and some other doctor delived my boy on Easter. :-D I just found out that since this is my second child, I'll be given the chance to schedule an induction a week early so that we know the doctor will be available and so that we can plan accordingly. :-)
Oh no! Back labor is the worse! When I had my daughter 6 years ago it felt like they were ripping out my spine and pistol whipping me with it! I didnt feel much pain in my stomach cause the back pain was so intense. So i dont know if normal contractions are like that or not, but I dont wish back labor on anyone!!! Im definitely very nervous about this 2nd delivery.
That's crazy! Good timing though lol. I think I want my back to have pain more than my stomach lol.
I was due December 6th of last year after a week of no babygirl we scheduled for induction. It was scheduled for 5 pm I woke up in the morning extremely nervous was my first child. All that morning my back was hurting sooo bad I couldn't even sit down it hurt from my lower back and down. My mom tried helping Me get into comfortable position but nuthing would help the terrible pain I had in my back I tolerate pain pretty well so I did my best to ignore it finally around 4 I couldn't take it so we went in. Just an hour before I was suppose to arrive for they induced me. They put me in the room and I was already dialating to a 3 and my contractions were three mins apart. Although at the time it was painful its funny now that I went into labor the day I was going to get induced. I didn't really get contractions in my stomach though I got them in my back and my left leg bad. Idk why I guess my body is weird like that
