the flu shot?

So I got the flu shot yesterday at my doc appointment. I wasn't sure if I wanted it because of what others were saying about it. Some people were saying it made them really sick while pregnant and others said other didn't do anything. Well my mom and husband was with me. Well my mom suggested to get it. And my husband didn't mention while we were there that he didn't want me to get it. I haven't had the flu since I was really little so he thought since I had already had it when I was 5 years old. He thought I was already immune to it. And he thought the shot was going to work backwards. And he doesn't realize in pregnancy it's easier to. Catch any sickness. I hhaven't been sick yet while pregnant. Besides morning sickness. I'm 23 weeks tomorrow. But anyways my question was if anybody else got the flu shot how did it treat you? It hasn't made me sick yet. It made my arm a little sore where they did it at bit that's all. I feel quite normal.

I had no problems with mine as well. The flu shot itself won't make you sick, however if you are exposed to anything beforehand you can still get sick since your immune system is busy building flu antibodies, and the above poster is right it take two weeks to build immunity so if you're exposed to the flu in that time you can still get it.

The flu shot is safe but the flu can kill - its especially dangerous for pregnant women and those who have compromised immune systems.

Also: t is possible to get the flu in the two weeks after the shot since you are not fully protected and the flu shot is it 100% effective.

I had mine a few months ago and had no problems what so ever
