The best advice i have is go by your urine. When i pee it is clear or very light yellow. If yours is dark yellow and has a strong scent you need more water. I wouldnt count other liquids as water consumption because it has stuff in it that needs to be filtered out, which is what water does.

I drink well over 64 oz of water plus tea or milk. I dont think people realoze what dehydration truely feels like because they are always dehydrated. If I drink any less my body is sooo much more sluggish! Dont drink more than a couple glasses of tea because it has caffeine.

You should count juice either as it is so high in sugar.

Don't count soda as it can actually dehydrate you.  Keep in mind when they say drink 8 glasses of water they are referring to 8 Oz glasses (64 Oz a day).  Most people have 12 to 16 Oz drinking  glasses so you are probably getting closer to the recommended water intake than you think.  If you're still worried talk to your dr.

Then you are doing fine! I don't have a medical degree but my mom does and she said anything can count. Its a well known fact. So I'm not just saying something that I think is right. So don't worry dear!

You should actually be drinking a gallon of water a day during pregnancy to prevent dehydration. Dehydration can cause preterm labor. Again, people with no experience with actual OB  care shouldn't give out vital medical actual device to pregnant women.

Do you drink other things like juice? Any liquid is fluid and can count towards your water intake. (I asked my doctor)
