to those whose water broke on It's own..
Just curious, When Ur water broke did It Just happen or did u feel it coming before hand. DId u feel like u had to pee but then ur water broke? Was there pressure and then it just popped? I know they say that it can be a gush, a trickle, even just a consistent drip and everyones different. But im really curious as to if it just happens or do u feel it coming seconds or minutes before??
My friend had a baby last week and was having contractions and felt like she needed to push but her waters hadnt broken. All of a sudden her wayers broke and 9 minutes later baby was out. This terrifies me how quick everything can happen

Y'all all are making me nervous... i'm 26 weeks and 5 days with my second child and I've been feeling mild cramps the past few days (Since Friday) all thought out the day sometimes 10 mins apart and I've been peeing a lot all today and alil just comes out... Now my first had me in labor for 5days and he was 2days late,they had to pop my water bag
I woke up, stood up and it gushed out.
I was already having contractions for about 16 hours and then I got up off the couch and thought I peed myself a little (not uncommon at 40+5! Lol) but nothing else came out. I didn't know my water was broken until they checked me at the hospital. I didn't start "leaking" for real until about 3 hours after it originally broke. Baby's head blocked the exit. Lol
My water broke at 35 Weiss with my last pregnancy. I had a few braxton Hicks that day but no pain. When I rolled over in the middle of the night. There was the gush!!
With my first it was just a slow leak (didn't even know it was my water that broke. I thought it was just discharge til I went to the doctor 3 days later). With my second, my husband and I were eating dinner after i got home from work and it broke in a gush. No signs and I had felt fine that day.
Ment couldn't not could. They were horrible and just so sudden lol. Im 39 weeks now and praying mine breaks any minute haha so uncomfortable and just ready
With my second i was just laying down to go to sleep with no signs all day and it was a gush. A omg i just pee'd the bed or my water broke 2 minutes later could bare the pain of the contractions had my daughter 2 hours later
Mine broke at 10cm dilated right before I started pushing I felt a HUGE contraction most painful one that day and a big pop sound and gushed out... I did it all natural no meds... it hurt so bad lol
For me, it was very unexpected. I was already having mild contractions, but I had no urge nor desire to pee. I just felt a big gush of fluid coming out that I had no control of stopping. Immediately afterwards, my contractions became stronger and longer. Hopes that this helps. Good luck!
My friends broke while she was out shopping. She said she was so embarrassed that she walked straight out and told the girl on the door that there was a spill in one of the isles and just kept walking. She said it just came gushing out. I really hope im home when mine breaks to although i do have a bag packed that i take everywhere i go that has a change of pants, underwear, shoes and socks just incase it breaks while im out.

I bent over to grab a DVD off the floor I thought I was peeing on myself because it started with a warm slow leak then 30 seconds later a big gush of water came out I was standing when this happened with a dress on so you can imagine how sudden and dramatic it was I was 36 weeks it was just like you see in the movies for me lol
Mine broke at 34 weeks and i was alseep when it happened just like shaymich2015 i thought i wet the bed and as i walked to the bathroom more came out and i thought i was peeing my self luckily my step mother just had my sister and i went to visit before her release home and more water came out at the hospital and my family insisted i get check and sure enough my water was broke and i had no idea but i felt fine the day before no pains or pressure i had no idea
Omg! Is everything okay with baby??? Tomorrow Is my due date n I Just started feeling Some sharp pressure pains n like I have to pee... I peed already But It made,me think like hmm What If my waters about to break lolz
The day my water broke I felt like complete poop. I was so tired and my entire body hurt and I couldn't eat anything and I was convinced something bad was going to happen (I was only 29 weeks) then at 6:46 in the morning I rolled over in bed and felt a pop then a big gush like I had peed the bed. Then I got up and penguin walked to the toilet and it didn't stop coming out. It was like I was constantly peeing. I also felt my baby's movement change in strength. And i felt very relieved when it broke like excited eventhough I was only 29 weeks and knew it could end very bad..
I was sleeping and it broke. Thought I wet the bed a first, big gush then I dripped for hours until I delivered.
