You can claim next year! Your baby's age does not matter!!! You both can not claim the baby!! My sons father and I decided to alternate years to be fair to each other!! I started with the first year being that we weren't married all medical bills would be put on me as the mother!! Money can divide people so we felt this was the most fair option for us!
Both can't claim. You can claim starting the year baby is born. So born in 2015 file the following tax season for 2015.
you wont be able to both claim the baby...but my lil girl was born 12/31 and i was able tp claim her..as long as the baby is born that year you can claim the baby even if she comes at 11pm
The baby doesnt have to be over 12.months they just have to be born that year
Baby does not have to be 12 months old. I had my oldest son Dec.19 and filed him on our taxes for that year. But everyone else is correct you cannot both claim the baby.
You can both claim her but the 12 months part is incorrect unless it varies by state.. the first time I claimed my daughter she was born on 12/4 and I claimed her when I filed taxes in feb. As long as you have her before the year is up you can claim her on the upcoming tax season
Never heard of a baby having to be 12 months to claim. But you or him can claim the baby but both of you can't claim. And you can file for 2014. As long as the baby is born before January then you can claim the baby on your taxes next year.
Yea thats what i thought bit my boyfriend thought otherwise. Thanks
You both can not claim her and you wont be able to claim until next time baby has to be 12month's to claim
