using the stairs

I'm 28 weeks and have to go up and down the stairs in our apartment building to do laundry. I was fine up until a couple days ago, now it's actually painful to do so and it sometimes feels like my knees are gonna give in.. Is this normal? And when I take the trash out I have to walk across the parking lot and that's pretty painful too.. I didn't expect to get this uncomfortable so soon :/

I hurts me going up and down the stairs too. But i do it anyways. I was pretty active before I got pregnant so i try to stay that way plus it's better for delivery.  I walk to the store, park, around the neighborhood and sometimes am pushing myself with each step. My daughter needs some fresh air and play time out doors before it gets cold. She's 1 1/2 so we be running. Am 26 weeks and haven't gained any weight yet and my baby is a lil over 2 pounds :)

Very normal. I'm 23 weeks and have been doing that for a couple weeks. Stairs about kill me now. I avoid them at all cost right now because I feel like when I finally make it to the top I ran a marathon.
