vaginal cyst?? please help (tmi)

sorry tmi, but my doctor doesnt work until next week and i'm scared. Today when i peed and wiped i noticed its sore down there, and then i felt a lump on my vulva on left side its about an inch in size and it hurts to touch. Now it started hurting more and more even when i dont touch it. Is it normal to have a swelling on vulva thats like a lump or is it a cyst?? What could this be? Anyone had something similar?

If not ingrown hair it could be swollen veins. They can lump up down there and be very uncomfortable during pregnancy

I get them sometimes in the same area you are describing and it turns out just to be some sort of pimple, hot compresses and then squeezing it until it pops will get rid of it. Like @alicia said, it does hurt while you are popping it, but it's worth it in the end when it's gone

It sounds like just pimple of sorts I gt those took some times my doc says it is because of the sweat glands in 're vagina sometimes u just gt bumps down there the best thing is just a hot compress n to bust it. It sounds gross but after that they always go away. Be prepared tho cuz booyyy it hurts!!

I have one which I think might be an ingrown hair on my thigh right by my bikini line. I noticed it yesterday and it is tender. I put antibiotic ointment on it so hopefully that helps. Try that. If it doesn't help within a week or gets worse you may need to see your doc about it:-(

I thought about ingrown hair too but this seems to be under my clitoris and a little lift, where i dont have hair and it seems a little to big and a little too painful to be an ingrown hair. But i guess in pregnancy everything not normal can be normal

Very occasionaly I would get in in-grown hair down there, which sound very similiar... but of course I'm not a doctor. Warm compresses always helped out. If your Dr is part of a hospital or clinic, there should be another another Obgyn, or at leat a nurse/nurse practioner on call, that can at least give you some insight. Even if it turns out to be something minor, it does not matter. You should be able to get some answers soon. There's no reason to have to sit and worry. Do not let anyone in the office give you a run around. You are the consumer. Otherwise, there are urgent cares, or even ERs if it gets worse (I work in one, and see plently of people cone in for absesses.) Good luck, mama!
