very upsetting!!!!!

I have two doctors. My specialist saw me Monday and said I was looking great! She told me to come back in 6 weeks. My regular on obgyn was mad. She said the specialist should be monitoring me more because of my miscarriage and my stillborn birth. I was upset because I feel my doctors should be on one accord. My specialist told me to let go and let God! I went home and prayed for peace and trust in God's word to bring me and my son through this pregnancy, healthy and alive. I know worrying and being anxious will not bring me joy. Just pray for me to not count the days but to take one day at a time!

Praying for you and your baby(: try not to stress as much as possible. Think of happy thoughts and trust pray to God to keep you and the baby safe. I haven't experience having still born and i don't think i can take it if that happen. You are one strong momma and will definitely be over this before you know it.

Sounds like your ob/gyn was advocating for you.  :>) That's a good thing in a doctor.  It sounds like your specialist feels that based on what they are seeing, things are moving along fine and that's also a good thing. So, relax and try not to worry hon.  good luck

I've had a stillborn, I'm seen by a consultant every 4 weeks (that started at 20 weeks) but my midwife appointments are exactly the same as any other pregnancy would be. I've bleed twice this pregnancy (once at 7 weeks and again at 15) and at 15 weeks I was told that until 24 weeks they monitor me more than baby until 24 weeks cause that's when baby will be viable. That was such a hard thing to hear after loosing my son but luckily I'm now at 28 weeks and all is well and good. Try not to worry and as long as they are telling you your baby is perfect then that's all you need to focus on.

My obgyn told me to buy a fetal doppler to keep up with the babies heart rate while I'm in between Dr appointments. I lost my son at 28 weeks last year. When I went to the doctor it was too late. His heart was beating but very little then he kick me one last time and I watched him die on the screen. I feel like they could have done more. They didn't even give me oxygen. If buying a doppler means it could save this babies life then I guess that's what I have to do! Just pray that I am able to notice when something is wrong and that I make it to the hospital on time. I must have faith that everything is going to be alright!

I am 18 weeks pregnant. My specialist said she wants me to come back when I am 24 weeks because that is when the baby is viable.

How far along are you? Miscarriage and still born are two different instances. Your OB should be the one seeing you frequently to check the heartbeat and baby growth.
