vitamins

Hello!! Just wondering what vitamins are good to take along with my prenatal. I want to take extra vitamin c, d and olive leaf for my immune system. Just unsure of any others or if I shouldn't take the olive leaf.

Also, taking too many vitamins can be harmful to a developing baby. And any vitamins you do take need to be taken at least two hours apart from your prenatal. Also, calcium can keep you from absorbing the proper nutrients from your prenatal.

I have only heard that you should talk to your doctor about any extra vitamins you take besides your prenatal. I have wanted to take garlic gel pills and omega 3, etc but I haven't because I don't want to worry that my baby is getting too much of something. They sat your body will filter out extra stuff, but its better to be safe rather than sorry.

What prenatal are you taking?  iI'm taking garden of life prenatal, Nordic natural prenatal DHA, garden of life raw calcium, high dose probiotics, and will sometimes take Chinese herbs, extra vitamin C & D.
